Hiram M. Chittenden Locks / Red Mill Burgers / Seahurst Park

This weekend my parents came up to visit us from Kennewick with the main purpose of watching Dillon in one of his last T-Ball games of the season. Friday afternoon we ventured up to Seattle and first visited the locks. It was beautiful there and we absolutely loved it; however, something Dillon ate previously in the day was not liking his tummy so much, so our visit there was short. We plan on returning there very soon to do a little bit more exploring. Unfortunately, we forgot the camera in the car thus there are no pictures.

Because of Dillon's stomach problems, we decided to head home, but ever since my parents watched a tv show called Man vs. Food, they wanted to go to Red Mill Burgers in Seattle, which was highlighted on the show, and try one of their famous hamburgers. Dillon's tummy seemed to be doing much better at this point, so we decided to eat there and take in the whole experience. They were sure great hamburgers and onion rings. Definitely worth it to hit up this joint!

After our burger stop we decided to head over to Burien and visit Seahurst Park. We always enjoy taking walks and spending some time on the water.

All in all, we had a great weekend, despite the temperature dropping from 90 degrees to 60 degrees within 12 hours. We sure love it when grandma and grandpa come and visit. Oh yes, and they brought their new truck which the kids loved!
